They rejected our offer outright. They want the amount of money they want, and that’s that. I guess they aren’t picking up on the clues. Getting nothing but two “insultingly low” offers after 40+ days on the market is a pretty good indicator that they are pricing their place way too high. But they have to figure that out for themselves.

UPDATE: It went into escrow about 2 weeks later. For over $1000 per square foot. It’s getting crazy out there.
UPDATE II: It’s now 2 more weeks later (we’re in contract on 4019 Folsom at this point) and the buyers backed out. It’s on the market again. At the same astronomical price. They are still not getting the message.
