We're in!
The move went surprisingly smoothly - we gambled and didn’t pay the $300 to get official reserved parking/tow away signs from the city. But it paid off, because we got spots right in front of both places with no problem! It could have been a nightmare but it wasn’t.

Waiting...again.
So here we go again. This time, our agent has gotten us in the door before the place is even listed. The sellers are being represented by an agent in her office, so we got to find out about it and see it yesterday. Although frankly a viewing is merely a technicality, because at this point we’ll bid on any 2 bedroom house that comes along and isn’t 799k. Of course, about 25 other buyers...

Nevertheless, they are entertaining it right now. We are waiting to be countered.

And we are putting in an offer on that cute place with the dutch door tonight. After the open house, they only got one “insulting” offer. Our superstar agent thinks we can give them an offer that “knocks it out of the park”. So here we go! Waiting again.
Hope
So we are first backup on the Anderson place and now we discover that there is a SECOND backup. So there are people with less hope than us, god help them. I’m not closing the hope door until I see that it’s gone into escrow-firm. Until then, there is a chance. There is a chance.
Last weekend we got back up on the horse and looked at a really great place in just as great a location....
